LB's are impacting the run defense

They have given 13 points in 3 wins because the defensive line was wrecking the QB's nerves. The LB's had little to do with that. Up until yesterday, they have practically invisible. Just because the defense as a whole is playing well, doesnt mean that everyone on the defensive is.
The linebacking core has 61 tackles on the season (15 per game)*. The defense has held opponent Running Backs to 3.7 yards per carry.

Yet you say they'v been "invisible", LOL. Your need to criticize even in the face of contrary information....is noted.

*This total didn't even include Kearse who often plays LB.

Have you actually paid attention to them or are you just looking up stats?

Problem with niners is that they stress you a lot with misdirection and that 1 second of hesitation is enough for them to get 5-6 yards
Yep, the teams we’ve struggled with most while Quinn has been DC has been those that run a lot of motion and misdirection which of course are what the Eagles and Niners run.

I watch and re-watch and isolate on players.

I'd say they've been quite "visible".

Perhaps you get confused as we typically only deploy two and one of those is Markquese Bell, who has been outstanding.

McCaffrey is soo good its ridiculous. And when they get inside the 5 they get in running the football. Either by McCaffrey or Deebo. Aiyuk is great at beating single coverage. Oline blocks great and gives Purdy all the time he needs and opens holes. Thier coach is a great play caller.
Great D almost always beats great O! Let’s see what happens. You sound like a closet Forty Whiner fan.

We played the Whiners O very good last year!

We just handled Belicheat’s run game and he will run it down your throat if you don’t stop it!!

Here's the last 3 times we've played the Niners and Eagles:

Rushing
Eagles, game one: 3.5 YPC, Eagles only 268 yards. But 3 Cooper Picks
Eagles, game two: 3.0 YPC. Minshew had some success in traditional QB role, but we held on
49ers: 3.5 YPC...19 points...only TD drive came late

Did you actually read what I typed? Where I specifically said, "typically". Did you watch the other clip where Osa was engaged with OL and Clark was freed up to make the tackle behind the LOS?
Yea but that's not the point lol.

The point is that keeping the LBs clean is not a requirement for stopping the run. Standards for good LB play are too low. Good LBs defeat blockers

Total mythology that Dallas has struggled against the run against these teams.

Our LBs have been good laterally for quite some time. I'd be more interested in seeing some clips of them shedding blocks, standing their ground, not getting sealed off and making a play not moving backwards up the middle.

Astute observation. In their 3 wins they have given up 13 points total but the LB's have nothing to do with it. Solid take
Oh, please explain for all just what then, are the functions of a linebacker in this defense and don't you dare say to stop the run and leave a blank space instead.

Oh, you want the conventional three linebacker group instead...go figure the complaints.

They tightened up and the D-Line stayed in their assignments and held their lane. Keeping them from getting to our LBs and they can make the play. Stop the run and put points on the board and make them one dimensional. Then we go after the qb..

I want to see them do it this week vs a side to side offense like the 49ers. That’s generally been our weakness the past couple years. Just like Arizona… the eagles and the jags last year.

Have to maintain the outside discipline.
