**DISCLAIMER** Before anyone decides to accuse me of being homeristic, indulging in illegal substances or part of the "all is well" crowd, I am on the record for saying that tonight was a pitiful performance.

With that in mind, I think this loss can be taken as a valuable lesson in learning to focus and not take your opponent for granted . After Julius' touchdown,we really let up in intensity. New Orleans on the other hand went for the jugular once they seized the momentum. Hopefully the team will take today's loss to heart.

Losing hurts and is always less preferable to winning. But sometimes the greatest lesson a team can learn is when it has to deal with adversity in the form of a major buttwhooping. Nothing comes easy in this league for anybody. We are no different. I hope we learn that.

I was thinking along those same lines....kinda like maybe this loss was a good thing prior to the playoffs....now, that's being a little bit sadistic to say, but you never know.

Maybe this'll force this team to realize once again how bad a loss hurts. We haven't lost in over a month.

I don't know if this is completely analogus to the situation, but I personally learn more when I really screw up then when things are going really well.

This team needs to hurt badly from this loss so they tighten things up and give Atlanta a similar licking.

Agreed.

I agree as well.

Look, on defense, we need to recognize and play screens, dump offs, the "little stuff" much, much better.

Romo needs to continue on his growth curve and take the short passes as well as the intermediate and long passes.

We really didn't execute on any facet of the game - except I thought Miles Austin did a good job for the most part on KO returns (though he did have that one fumble which we recovered).

Nothing like having a Fleur-Di-Lis crammed up your *** to wake you up.

I also hope we use it as a learning experience to fix that hole in the flats...teams have been doing that to us all season long. It's just that, today, a team finally executed perfectly.
