i was making comparisons this morning because of this LJ to LA story. Lakers a once feared franchise, albeit a lot more recent than our Cowboys, could possibly be the most storied franchise in NBA history. Just like Dallas is in the NFL . .

Now in one day, with one guy, and 153 million dollars they are suddenly the team most likely to compete with Golden State for a Championship.

So here's my question. What would be the equivalent to this for the Boys? What current player not out of his prime, would instantly change our status, and make us a favorite for 3-4 years.

I know a lot of you would never even attempt to make this type of move. You'd be afraid of cap issues in the future. Honestly though, The Cowboys have won nothing being in cap hell, or being free of cap troubles. Same results. I'd rather worry about that after being a true competitor for the next 4 years. The question again, with who could this be possible???

Well coult, this question is kinda self defeating because it plays to the biggest difference in the two sports. In the NBA, because you have 5 guys on the floor at one time, one player can make that kind of difference. In the NFL, not so much. You got 22 guys and they all depend on each other to do their job, to play well. In the NBA, on guy can take over. That doesn't happen in the NFL.

However, I will try and give my best answer to your question. Aaron Donald of maybe a Von Miller.

I dont think theres one guy that can cure what ails the Cowboys but there is one move that would send my hope skyrocketing

the team is sold to a group led by Roger Staubach & Aikman (or anyone for that matter) and then jeri and his spawn are never heard from again

Your question tells me you don't understand the difference between basketball and football.

But if you want the best answer to your question I can only give you a non player - Robert Kraft

Forget Rodgers. I'll take me some Rams DTs Donald and Suh. With our DEs, good look to the opposing O. Just one player can't have the same impact in football as basketball.

Easy. Sign Lebron James

However, even if he switchs sports, the Warriors would still beat him
