Why in the heck do these guys not wait until after the draft! Last year it was Witten, then teams draft TEs right in front of Dallas, and now Lee! Wait 1 week! Now everyone will know we need a LB. I don’t get it.

Dude.... we need a LBer even if Lee said he was playing and planned on starting. It's no secret in NFL circles, he's done, cooked (lol)

This is a good thing, probably forces them to sign a veteran and use a premium pick at the position.

Considering Lee wouldn't likely start anyway, I doubt it has much of an effect on our draft plans anyway at LB.

My gut says barring a trade down in the first where they then can grab a JOK or Collins or even Parsons, they are going to roll with Neal, Smith and LVE as the LBs and likely throw a mid round pick at a LB like they did with Bernard last year.

Is this sarcasm?

Don't sweat it. I rather that than Travis Fredrick waited after the draft and right before the season.

Bernard was a UDFA.

This changes nothing... he literally wasn't even under contract as far as I know.

He was a free agent. What's with this urgent need to be a victim whenever something happens? Are we going to lose it if Gerald McCoy is next to announce his retirement? Oh the humanity! People will know we need a DT now!
