You can't make this stuff up, Part I: At a recent on-campus pro day workout, an undersized defensive tackle from a prominent SEC program tried to alleviate concerns about a lack of bulk by stuffing a 20-pound weight inside the football-style girdle he was wearing beneath his running shorts. The ploy worked until one scout asked that the player be reweighed, this time stripped down to the buff. The player protested, stormed out of the room and refused to be weighed, according to several scouts at the workout. Needless to say, most teams have viewed this as an, uh, weighty offense, and removed the player from their draft boards.

God, there isn't much that I ever try to ask of You, but please don't let this idiot be an LSU alum...

I second that prayer!

Ray McDonald from Florida?
Turk McBride from Tenn?
Keith Jackson from Arkansas?

It's probably some unnamed guy that no one has heard of.

Unless the schools had 2nd pro days, I'm not sure who it could be. But if I'm going by the NFL pro day list, Mississippi State had the latest pro day. It's possible it's:

Deljuan Robinson
Robinson (6-3 1/8, 299 pounds) ran his 40s in 5.07 and 5.08. He also had a 27-inch vertical jump, 9-foot-5 long jump, 4.74 short shuttle, 7.54 three-cone drill and 23 strength lifts.

Juke has been accused of sticking things down his pants too in order to appear "larger". :D

I remember reading about this on nfl.com

I think he was a player from UGA.

No, it was Juke. :)

I don't know how NFL.com got a hold of it... I mean heard about it. :D

Yeah, I remember that, too... They said at the time that the guy was acting very fishy the whole time. He weighed way more than anyone expected, and then he refused to get back on the scale.

I was thinking it was an LSU guy, for some reason... I'll see if I can try to find that.

Well, I can't seem to locate it... And I don't know why I thought of LSU. I don't think it was them after all.

Well, at least I have something there to stop the "things" from simply sliding down my pants legs and out through my cuffs...unlike uh, well, you. :D

You know that was a pretty low shot attacking Hos like that.

Just because God didn't choose to give that particular apple a large "stem" doesn't mean you have to insult the guy. :)

Turk McBride is terribly small to play DT. He could really use 20 extra lbs.

Not smart. He just cost himself dinero.
