I saw this earlier. It amounts to about $314 per employee. That isn't much by American standards, but apparently it amounts to about a full months worth of wages for Lenovo's employees.

Thumbs up to this guy.

Yep, the average CEO can never have enough Lear jets or vacation homes. Nice to hear a non greed story.

:lmao2: Post like this crack me up. People are so judgmental to those who are successful and make a lot of money. Let's completely overlook the guy is doing a great thing for those 10k workers. Ignore that good part of it. Go for the throat w/ condescending comments and flat out spoon fed systematic replies.

Funny stuff...

Obviously your comprehension skills are lacking.

Great story - especially on a day like today.

I would be thrilled if my boss added $314 to my check this week.

I just thought of a random question. If given the vote, do you think the employees would have chosen to have 1,000 employees by lottery receive $3,000 each, or everyone receive $300?

It appears I did. My apologies RS12. It just read at first like you were in bulldog mode.

I'm sorry there...

CNN article said:
His total earnings, including salary, incentives and other benefits, amounted to $14 million, according to the company's annual report.
If his bonus is classified as incentive, he re-invested 20% of his income back into his company's human resource. Not bad.

:clap2:

No worries.

most CEO's don't have the time to do much else except run their companies. You hear about the bad ones all the time but they are in the minority.

If you want to watch pure greed and buying lots of things that are just a waste of money go to the entertainment industry and also the children of the super rich.
