Dana's got to make something happen, it'd make a good co-main event like it was supposed to, but Ortiz/Griffin II isn't going to sell PPVs. Brock backed down because he realized he was fighting a bigger and better man. I say bigger, but it's very similar. Carwin's smaller in weight, but taller in size and his gloves are a size bigger. =D

It's not til the 14th I think, but I can understand where he's coming from. If you're that sick, no training camp and he won't be adequetly prepared.

He's been sick, according to the reports, for about 3 weeks now (Could be the swine flu, they're not sure) and it's kept him from getting proper training. As it stands he still can't train properly and they're looking at the real possibility that by the time he's fully healthy to train he might not get more than 2-3 weeks of solid training in which would be very stupid to take the fight, right now, if that were the case. It's a title match and you want him to put his best effort forward.

I read tonight that the match has been rescheduled for January 2nd or somewhere around that area in the early part of next year.

I like Carwin, a lot, and I think he's a really great test for Brock but I do believe that Brock is going to beat him when they face.
