I agree. But I think he might need to sit more than just a game honestly. Different sources(Ft Worth Star Telegram being one) reporting mcl sprain/tear and severity of grade II or worse.

Zeke's response was that it would be a group decision on his playing but with him wanting to play while injured just as he did last year.

So basically it's just like last year all over again although last year it was in week 4 not week 7.

The game after the Bears is a bye week. That gives Zeke two weeks to see where he is.

Defense needs to pick up the pace and shut down the Bears. No turnovers for the offense. Make an adjustment and don't rely on Pollard to do the pass blocking.

Zeke has to come back in week 10 against the Packers at their house.

Let him sit long enough for Jerry to realize how much better Pollard is. Then we can put Zeke into a role he is better suited for. Backup duty with about 10 carries a game on short yardage, GL, and mop up duty.
