Let us not forget the other big game tomorrow

FIXED

Texas Tech only had one great year but the Texas and Oklahoma are still the best team year in and year out in this conference. Until Tech shows they can beat a good UT and OU team in Austin or Norman, they will not be mentioned with these two giants. Nebraska needs to hurry up and come back though.

Oh and Hook Em' but alot of players from my high school went to Texas A&M back in the mid-late 90s. Jay Brooks and Michael Jameson. One thing's for sure. I'm glad this game is back on Thanksgiving as it should be.

Tech has been good (top 25) for quite a few years. 10 years ago the Longhorns weren't much and before Stoops OU was just another team.

I often wondered what it's like to be an Aggie, being mired in nothing but failure for most of your existence. Also, knowing that your football team will never even be competitive again, because top-flite recruits from Texas who don't go to Texas or OU just go to another conference.

But hey, you guys will always have the corps! :lmao:

P.S.

HOOK 'EM.

Horns are a 35 point favorite. Horns will easily beat A&M there is no doubt about it.

Dude, I love the Texas A&M Aggies! Gig Em'!

But I am about sick and tired of these underachieving teams that Texas A&M has fielded the last several years. I thought Mike Sherman might have turned them around in year one, but was sorely mistaken. I give Sherman 2 two years total, before giving him the moniker of BUST.

Yeah I know, two years is not a lot of time, but c'mon, A&M is a football school and very well known. Time to get some stuff done.

The Longhorns are immensely talented this year. And I for one, for the last couple of seasons believed A&M would win their November showdown. And they did. Emotional games for the Ags!

Sadly though, I believe this year the Horns are going to roll the Aggies. It won't be pretty. I really hope I am wrong, but it's just a gut feeling.

I can't really blame Sherman for this season. A&M's talent level, especially on the offensive and defensive lines, is pitiful. I sincerely believe we have the worst O-Line in the nation.

Some of his true freshmen recruits though, Fuller, Frederick, Hunter, Gray, etc. are some of our biggest contributers and that encourages me about the future.

Everything goes in cycles. A&M was a consistant top 10 team from 1985-1998, then Texas and OU, who had been mostly irrelavent for about 10 years, took over again.

The only constant is that Texas Tech has never, ever, ever won an outright conference championship :D

Hopefully we get good hits on Cart early and he starts having flashbacks of the last two years.

They have been good. But they haven't been great. They usually have those 7-5 to 9-3 type of seasons. The thing is that Tech has never been at this level they are presently at now before or held it at a consistent basis whereas as Texas and OU has. Since 2000, it's been OU and Texas and everyone else.

Besides, in the history of college football, OU, Texas, and Nebraska are three of the top 10 programs in the nation.

while it's true we get a lot of guys from Texas (hey, it's their choice-- they know a better school when they see one!), a lot of our best players are from Oklahoma:

Sam Bradford
Ryan Broyles
Quentin Chaney
Jermaine Gresham
Gerald McCoy
Austin Box

Hey one of you faggie fans tell McFagee to shut up and play. Quit whining about hard hits, little faggie!!!!

Texas A&M and Texas meet for the 115th time at 7 PM on ESPN, at which time Cart McCry will get humilated by Daddy A&M for the 3rd year in a row.

The spread was 34, and ATM couldn't even cover it...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

Gasp... wheeze...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA...

The funniest sign I saw in the stands last night.....

"Jorvorskie Lane ate my other sign!!"

Made me giggle almost as much as watching McGee getting steamrolled by Kindle, then stupidly getting up and charging the UT sidelines.

Reminds of the Yorkie, behind the fence, yapping at the Pit Bull strolling by.
:laugh2:
