there is no leader on this defense. NO and Philly just walked into their house and wiped them like a high school team. A true leader would have motivated the team to atleast compete. Maybe Ellis was that guy. I think many of us hoped R. Williams or B. James would be that guy...but throw that out the window. Whats most disturbing to me is that Dallas has several players on their defense who were team captains in college. Something just doesn't add up.

Ware is a leader. He is soooo good. But no one else except for T-New is playing like they give a damn right now.

Bradie is making me sick.

I think Akin has been playing well.

Maybe not a leader but its a start.

I thought James was. Well I think he is but his play ain't living up to his status. This defense misses Greg Ellis, not just for his impact at rushing the passer but in the huddle.

Ware is a talented LB who impacts the game. But I am talking about a guy who is the heart and soul of a defense who has the ability to get players to rally around him.

Some examples (notice most are safety or LB)

Philadelphia - Brian Dawkins
Miami - Zach Thomas
Chicago - Brian Urlacher
New England - Rodney Harrison
Baltimore - Ray Lewis
Denver - Al Wilson
Lawyer Milloy (not sure where he is playing)

That guy is not on that team. Someone who could've been that guy is playing in San Diego. And don't forget Jeremiah Trotter in Philly along with Dawkins.

Notice all those teams have good defensive coordinators..I think that's where the blame HAS to go.

The HC of this team forbids leadershhip. The coashes cannot talk to the press. BP does that. Everybody does what BP tells them to do. Well he's too old and tired to keep up w/ it anymore. Does anyone really think Spears and Canty want to be here. They produce nothing. And haven't for 2 years now. I really think Spears will be trade bait come the draft along w/ jones. BP will take a 4th and 5th for these guys and let somebody else turn them into all Pros...

Zimmer needs to go. He should have been gone 2 years ago.
His defense has been exposed again. How much do we have to take? This team has no heart. They accept losing.
Wouldn't bother me to see Parcells go either. Offer some big money and get Jeff Fisher in here at least his teams don't lay down.

Miserable trip today to a miserable game.

Merry F****** Christmas

True... BP did his job!!! turn the thing around... thats all we needed now we need to get a real coach someone who can be here for 10 or 15 years!!!

Usually, to me, the MLB is the leader, and James while a good guy isn't that.

Agreed. We have no identity. Bunch of good guys that you would trust your kids with. Seriously, Ware, Spears, Williams are like overpriced baby sitters. Give me some nasty cut throat SOB;s who want to rip the other teams QB's head off.
Im so disgusted, I wont say a positive thing about this bunch of farm animals all week.

It seems that in the NFL these days, teams go as their defense goes. Dallas is really no different. But let's really be honest. The offense didn't help much yesterday. The offense was as anemic as it has been all season. Even the Bledsoe led offense seemed more capable than whatever we saw yesterday.

But if we have learned anything in this year's NFL ...it is that the next week has no correlation to the last week. So I remain optimistic.

Ware is the only player on our defense right now.......:bang2:

Kills me to think that we could've let BP walk after last year and be looking at Payton coaching this team instead of the Saints. Jones doesn't have the foresight skill to see more than a couple games in advance or a few seasons behind.

Look how long it took him to deal with Campo when all of us knew before he was even promoted that he wasn't HC material.
