Dictionary:
having a pleasing quality involving a subtle effect or contrast rather than sharp definition,
or easy to mold, cut, compress, or fold; not hard or firm to the touch.

What does it really mean: Something that is soft is very gentle and has no force.

I am not suggesting players in the NFL and specifically our cowboys are soft by definition. I don’t agree with many of the pundits using that word to describe the Cowboys. Individually, players would not of become professionals being soft. The physical skills required to play in the NFL are for only a handful of players in the world.
BUT, and this is big BUT!

I do believe the team is MENTALLY “SOFT.” Individually and as a team they play the game mentally soft. This includes Coaches and FO. So our Cowboys play uphill every game.
From the owner to the players they don’t operate as a professional team every day of the year. There is no off season in the NFL. The whole organization needs to clock in every day. Game day is the payoff to get to wear the Cowboy uniform.
Every ”employee,” of the cowboys are rewarded financially to perform! If we just stick to the “business,” of the NFL then this business would have failed years ago. So Jerry, how do our Cowboys get mentally sharp to improve on the field of play? So Jerry, who is responsible for time management and how do we improve? So Jerry, why are we in the bottom of the league in running the ball and what should we do To improve? You are the GM what improvements should be made to be mentally prepared so we can actually get to NFC championship game?

Soft in football terms is being passive during high stakes combat. And again, that fits our 3 all pro defenders Parsons, diggs and Bland. Playing the Giants isn't high stakes. Playing against a playoff team with bad intentions against you (Lions) is high stakes. We saw who the softest player on the field was out both teams

@TheMarathonContinues 8:15 mark. That's ya man though right?

@WillieBeamen ain't you a fan of that charmin soft dude too?

I never said Diggs was a tackler. I know what he is. I liked him for his coverage not for his tackling. He’s a small problem. Yall can keep deflecting from player to player but we know he’s not the problem. No one man is aside from the guy being in charge of running this mess.
