With every meaningless win we are one step closer to 1 playoff win every 5 years... no thanks on playing "spoiler". Couldn't care less.

Jerry has some convinced that hanging around the rim on the edge of mediocrity is the way to go. I guess if I were him I would be the same because this way the money keeps flowing in.

But a Cowboys’ win coupled with a Commanders’ win tonight against Atlanta would make the season finale at home against Washington interesting at least.

In addition to having a say in who actually does win the division, and the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs, Dallas can still finish above .500. They’d need to win both games for a 9-8 record.

Play a lot of younger guys to see what they got. If they win, good. If they don't, it's still good. They'll have a better idea about who's a player and who ain't.

This is keeping it simple...

FRISCO, Texas — Things got off to a slow start for Cooper Rush when he initially took the helm for an injured Dak Prescott this season, but it looks as if he's not only becoming more comfortable in the 2024 version of the Dallas Cowboys' offense, he's also taking more risks than he normally would; and without those risks turning into giveaways down the field.

Rush has completed 17-for-27 passes of 10 air yards or greater in the last three outings combined, totaling 328 yards and six touchdowns to zero interceptions in more often, as of late, rewarding his defensive counterparts for the rash of takeaways they've been able to generate.

One hand is now washing the other, and it's resulted in a 4-1 record over the last matchups, as Rush chuckles when presented with his 8-4 career record as a starter.

"It means we have a good team," he said with a smirk. "The QB win stat is always a funny one in the ultimate team game. I mean, I'll take it. I'm not gonna complain but, over the years, good defenses and not turning the ball over; and, lately, our defense is getting the ball out and we're capitalizing. The wins are coming as a part of us playing together and everyone doing their job."

I'm almost hoping he runs for 350, just to spit in Jerry's wrinkly face.
Straight up, check your banking account and step up to the plate slurping spit. No?

How hard is it to focus on the run?

And Jerry has also convinced you that draft pick positioning matters when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys.
Thinking that a top ten pick is any better with this organization is asinine.
Just win and enjoy the games.

Winning the remaining two games makes Ashton Jeanty's availability in draft less likely. Cowboys have had only one rush this year greater than 25 yards. There is no explosion in the backfield. They should have kept 4th rounder Pollard. JEANTY IS BETTER THAN ZEKE WAS COMING OUT OF COLLEGE. Jeanty had 12 carries of 50 or more yards in this season. Jeanty has more rushing yards than 115 of 134 FBS teams. His lowest output: 125 yards. Zke had seven games below that his last year at Ohio State. Jeanty has 837 more rushing yards than the No. 2 rusher in the nation, N. Carolina's Omarion Hampton. Ashton scored 29 touchdowns. Jeanty had six games of 200+ yards and Zeke had only two his last year as a Buckeye. Boise State credits Jeanty with wracking up 1,889 yards after contact this season. It also credits him with forcing opponents to miss 143 tackles. Explosive with Aaron Judge like man among boys production.

It's difficult to actually judge how good Jeanty is when you consider the talent level of the teams that Boise State has played this year. Based on the rankings they only played two top 25 teams (losing to Oregon and beating UNLV). Jeanty did have 192 yards against Oregon but that was also very early in the season. It's not like he played in the SEC where he played against the likes of Texas, Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama. I am looking forward to see how well he plays against Penn State. I would be happy to be wrong if he is the real deal.
