Let's kick the tires on Blake Bortles

I liked Blake Bortles coming out of college and thought he was a good prospect. Most QBs are overrated in the draft and Blake was over drafted. There were times in his NFL career where he looked great and other times he stunk up the stadium. He did have a great season with Hurns and Robinson putting up big numbers. He has NFL experience, playoff experience (2-1) and may can be a viable back-up if Dalton becomes injured. If Bortles is better than DiNucci and Gilbert, then Dallas should sign him. Dallas has enough talent to win the East.

The Boys should bring him into the facilities on Tuesday for a test run. What do you think? One year deal? Yes, sign Bortles.

In good organizations, all decisions about player acquisition are weighed against what kind of team you are or are trying to become. They don’t make fantasy football/Madden type moves that are just disjointed, desperate reaches.

Anyway, that’s what good organizations do that win. Are the Cowboys lead by anyone that thinks that way?
