Lets talk playoffs

Okay I know it is early but we are halfway through the season and should have a solid understanding of who is who. I took the current top 8 in the NFC and then their schedules pick the teams who I thought would win and then thats how I got my playoff teams. I also went trough the playoffs and of course Dallas ends up in the Superbowl... LOL Please show me how you guys see the season ending.

I'd be surprised if we go 15 - 1, I'm think more like 13 - 3 but it's not impossible since I think we have a very good team.

As for NFC playoff teams, I think we matchup with anyone of the them so I like our chances.

However, it is way too early in the season to look that far ahead, we still have too many games left and anything can happen from now to the game #16.

I'd rather talk about winning the NFC East. Hard to beleive its almost the 1/2 way point and we've played only 1 division game, and that was in week 1. The NFC East is looking pretty good this year (or the NFC North and the AFC East are looking pretty bad, take your pick), so the Cowboys success this year is still to be determined. IF the Cowboys win the next 3, then we can look at the records and start wondering when the Cowboys will clinch. IF the Cowboys clinch the division early, then we can start looking at the conference standings and playoff seeding.

Right now, its way, way, way too early to start putting teams in the playoffs.

Rest of our season depends on our offense returning to the jungernault we were in the first 4 games. This team must put up points early so our defense doesn't spend so much time on the field earlier in the game. That cost us big time against NE and also will in next 2 games.

Our defense should improve with Ellis starting at OLB cause we've got to legit big time pass rushers; add Spencer as he continues develop and Hatcher really coming on. It's all about our secondary which should be really helped with the return of Henry allowing Newman to cover the slot & Reeves now a much better, experienced CB then before.
