Anybody watch the first episode of the new series? I think it came on after the new episode of east bound and down.
It was kind of funny but a little odd.
I laughed at a few spots and the part with Liam Neeson had me laughing because he was being so serious.
The show is about the dwarf that played in starwars (as an ewok), played a goblin in harry potter but most remember him as the main character in Willow.
They follow him around and it is set up so that he is being filmed for a documentary but of course it is a comedy so not everything goes as he would like. It is an english comedy so it had a different feel to it. Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant are the writers and they play their part in the series. I think Johnny Depp is also going to make an appearance on the show.
It is not gut busting funny but it is funny it just has that odd english comedy feel to it that some will not like.
But if you are bored and want to give it a whirl as something new...it is on HBO now.
Gervais and Merchant also have another show on the science channel (not syfy channel). An idiot abroad. Where they have a person (the idiot) go out and do crazy things from a so called bucket list. The only thing is what he thinks he will be going to do and what they actually have him do are two different things and sometimes it is funny.
