Barca has been a really poorly run club for some time now. Being a Galactico is nice and all but you better develop some talent to at least sale.

Real and Barca both have bought high and sold low for a long time.
Losing Lionel Messi for nothing??? Yikes!!!!!!!

Really stupid. I think Chelsea should make a play for him as he's now a free transfer. Who wouldn't want Messi on a free transfer?

Fully expect Chelsea and Man City to make play for him. Just not sure if he wants to live in London or not.

He could just semi-retire to US and MLS. Live here 3-4 years and claim citizenship. But it will depend on what he wants to do longer term like how LeBron moved to LA.
I could see him living in Miami with all the Spanish speakers there.

Manchester City would make the most sense from his history with Pep. That would be his best chance at staying competitive within UEFA. I could also see him at PSG with Neymar.

Going to be wild because his wage demands will be sky high and he wants a major role.
At 34 with huge money and a lead role his options may not be that many.
But a lot depends on what he wants to do as far as lifestyle.

This would lead to Man U or Chelsea in my mind. Man City just blew their wad on Jack Greelish. Man U might be in play as they have enough money for that. Chelsea always seems to rummage up enough for whoever they want. Arsenal would be a possibility, except they've been completely useless lately. Doubt Messi would want to play for them. PSG would make sense as mentioned, and they've got the money I would imagine. AC Milan could be a sneaky possibility, and it would allow Messi to reignite his rivalry with Ronaldo. On that same note, Roma could be possible as they are building a nice club. Messi would be enough to put them at the top 2 in Italy. Bayern Munich is in play of course as they dominate the Bundesliga. Dortmund is always in play for players like him. Of those teams, I think the top likely teams to get him would probably be Roma, AC Milan, Man U, and Chelsea. If for some reason Messi went to the MLS, I'd imagine it'd be with the LA Galaxy, but I doubt he'd stay long as he'd probably get offers later from Europe again like Zlatan.
