No way in hell he comes back this seasonI had had the same injury in high school. Cracked my fibula and tibia playing soccer. I was in a full cast for 8 weeks that immobilaized my ankle and knee. I think they are smarter now and only do the full cast for 6 weeks and then start allowing more range of motion to cut down on permanent damage to the cartliage. The rehab is the question mark.. During the period of immobilization, the muscles atrophy and it takes awhile to get the strength back. I would guess this keep him out 12 weeks. He should be good to go by the playoffs.
I do not think it was the same injury. Hutchinson's were full on broke, not cracked.I had had the same injury in high school. Cracked my fibula and tibia playing soccer. Cracked is a figure of speech. A broken bone is a broken bone.I do not think it was the same injury. Hutchinson's were full on broke, not cracked.
no, a BROKEN bone means the bone has completely separated; and that is worse.Cracked is a figure of speech. A broken bone is a broken bone.
I don't think they can win it without him, unless they trade for a great pass rusher.
Probably not. He'll be able to jog by Christmas but getting back into NFL game shape is a mountain I didn't have to climb. No way in hell he comes back this season
