NFL Network's Adam Shefter reports that the Lions and Dolphins are expected to make a "major push" to sign Drew Brees.

Well, that sounds a lot better than wanting to keep Joey Harrington. Considering Oakland, Baltimore and the Jets are three other teams that make sense, but they all have cap issues. If Brees indeed becomes a free agent, he won't be one for long.

If Brees does become a FA then he will be the most sought after FA out there IMO. I do not believe we will be players in this though.

I agree Thumper. Or at least I hope you are right. Not that there is anything wrong with Brees(well other than questions on how successful his injury is healing).. I would just rather develop a qb from the get go.. That is providing that Henson doesn't prove worth much in NFLE and Romo continues to do clipboard duty.
