Try straight disrespected the Cowboys and for good measure. We are trash.
It's crazy after a year how the Lions and the Cowboys are trending in bolar opposite directions. We are terrible and the Lions look like one of the best teams in the NFL.

It’s just part of their weird and unorthodox offense.

Its like watching my grandad do trig by hand vs my grandson using his cell phone.... the schemes look that bad vs any good coaching staff now.

It’s part of what Ben Johnson does. He’s been doing it for years. It has nothing to do with disrespect.

It has a lot to do with Dan Skipper who is the tallest player in the NFL. He played TE in HS and he has fairly decent hands. He’s a matchup nightmare do to his length… but the other OL wanted in the action so Sewell, and Decker have been used at times.

The Lions like adding an extra OL and running at opponents. By throwing a passing element in they’re not tipping their hands that it will be a run.

I think this is years of ignoring free agency catching up to us.

No one is good enough to succeed on the draft alone.

Then there's the fact this coaching staff has grown stale. We all knew is last year after GB.

The Lions versatility makes them a SB caliber team. A testament to good coaching, bringing in the right types of players and management committed to winning. Most importantly the players have bought in to Campbell's system.

Detroit had this game marked since their illegal substitution/formation call.

Bingo!!!!!!!!
Most, if not all top/elite teams have at least 1-2 quality free-agent additions each year or every other year.

It was a direct revenge mode tactic to highlight their disagreement with the infamous ref's tackle eligible defeat we gave them last year.

Campbell made a joke of the Cowboys on national TV by showing even his linemen could produce as skill players against that Cowboy defense. His tackles "were eligible" and they produced.
LOL

That was the message.

Funny how back in the late '90's all the football know it alls always laughed at gimmicky offenses and said it would never work in NFL.

Specifically, I remember hearing Urban Meyer's offenses would never work in the NFL because its too gimmicky.

It wasn’t that long ago that Dallas used 1 or even 2 extra OTs to assist the running game. Anyone remember Parnell coming in at TE on short yardage plays? However, we struggle With our starting OTs. Why would we try to use our backups?

I'm not positive but I think the Lions had a raffle and a few lucky fans got on the field and ran some plays too

Yeah, when you add that up over the course of a few years it's huge
