Well this didnt take long, again I say Ciskowski >>>> Ireland

(For those that dont remember, White was the 44th overall pick in April 2009)

It appears Miami Dolphins backup QB Pat White won't make it on the team's final roster this year, reports Armando Salguero, of The Miami Herald. Unless the team trades one of their other three quarterbacks, White's days in Miami appear numbered.

Everyone makes mistakes. No one on the boys has much room to talk. We have had our share.

I like that Dolphin team. I don't think they are quite ready and they play in a division where I can see any of three teams be the best team in the AFC this year. Either way, Parcells & Co have done a good job rebuilding that team. With or without the odd choice of Pat White last year. BTW, I did not like their draft two years ago, but it appears they found two pretty good corners, if my memory serves me right.

Yes, but Ireland was supposed to be the godsend and the reason for Dallas' success and he had to get out of Jerry's shadow so he could....be in Parcells' shadow.

He also was dying to draft Stanback.

I think it's a bit ironic that not only have we had better drafts without Ireland, but for Parcells and Ireland to talk about avoiding 'pet cats', the reality is that they were more 'pet cat' drafters than Jerry and Ciskowski.

They should have made him a wr from the beginning.

Yea but I bet Buffalo will be loving a chance to sign him. They have a terrible O-line. His mobility would help. Nobody expects them to compete anyways, so if Edwards goes down again, they have another option.

Gimmick player. Drafted way to high.

Agreed...why would you spend a 2nd round pick on a player whose role would be to come in for a couple of plays to run the Wildcat?

it was a pretty stupid decision IMO...and it wasnt like he was picked at the 2nd of the 2nd rd either...I think he was 44th overall

Soooo True. Skyler Green comes to mind. That 06 draft was a disaster.

From what I heard Jerruh was the one that really liked Stanback.

how quick some forget the 2005 draft that was really top of the line. We have hit on about the average number of players good NFL teams hit on in our drafts since 2002. Now and then we have a bad one like 2004. But 2003 and 2005 make up for it. It averages out for the good teams. We just have had real bad luck on the O line picks. 2002 Gurode; 2007 Free. Once every 5 years is not a good thing.
