That being said, the best RB to come out of Texas this year is Brandon Williams who signed with OU. He looks like a bigger version of Chris Johnson on film, legit sub-4.3 speed.
Doomsday101;4041848 said:Guess that is a matter of opinion since Brown was rated the top high school RB in the nation

The30YardSlant;4042172 said:Brown was rated higher because he has been on the recruiting map since he was in eigth grade and is a more "traditional" back. Williams was a late bloomer, but his film is just unreal. It looks like Bo Jackson on the old Tecmo Superbowl game, just running circles around entire defenses.

well if that helped get the Oline coach fired then thank you Bruce Matthews.The30YardSlant;4042239 said:Their potency will be determined by whether or not Texas can get their offensive line woes in order. Last year after viewing several of their practices, HOFer Bruce Matthews called their practice drills and technique "a joke" and said he'd never let his son play for such poor offensive line coaching. Turns out he was right, Texas' line was dreadful last year despite four and five star talent all across it.

nothing is more important than the new strength guy, we had become a team of soft pansies.ABQCOWBOY;4042401 said:Texas will have a much improved OL this year, if only because they are no longer running the same kind of offense. Last year, I got the feeling they were in a transitional period where this was concerned. This year, they have a new OC and a new OL coach and they have more talent coming in. If they manage to get Peat, even more strong talent. I think Texas is going to be OK.
so Gilbert was supposed to win a Heisman standing on the sidelines watching McCoy?revospeed;4042477 said:Yawn. Yeah, and Garrett Gilbert was supposed to have already won 2 Heismans by now. I hear about how awesome recruits are supposed to be every year, but the top ones rarely turn out to be the top players in college ball.
