9-17 on 3rd down = 52%

392 yards, 3td's no interceptions, and a 74% completion percentage from your quarterback.

38:50 time of possession.

27 first downs.

+1 turnover margin.

I said during the game-thread before halftime that it reminded me of the playoff game. Well, it sure seemed like it. We dominated the stat sheet, yet somehow found a way to lose the game.

I'm one of the most optimistic people on this board, but I'm done caring how this team does the rest of the season. It's a joke. We continue to melt down and find ways to lose. I'm still going to root for them you bet, but I'm not going to get upset when we lose, and I'm not going to be beaming full of sunshine when we win.

Can we make the playoffs? You bet. Will we? I dont know.

But I guarantee you this team is not going to sniff a championship this year unless they drastically improve their play in all aspects of the team.

Just like week two where we dominated them.....except where it counts most.

Yep, except in week 2 we blew them off the ball on both sides of the line.

How did we lose? Easy answer. There are too many guys on this roster who deep down inside expect to blow it. Everyone stands around hoping somebody else will make the tackle or the big play. We have too many players that make HUGE mistakes at the worst times.

Where on the stat sheet is the plays of 70 or more yards category. Giants 2 Cowboys 0.

I dont know what is wrong with our defense.

I do know that we keep seeing the same thing from the same core of players. I'm not suggesting we blow it up, but I am suggesting that if our defense keeps failing in December that we make some pretty big changes.

I'd suggest Newman, James, Hamlin, and Spears all move on if we fail to make the playoffs due to poor defensive performances.

Well Scandrick was our worst player today defensively...but I would love to see Bradie James and Ken Hamlin just dissappear.
