from CBS Sportswatch:

2:41:58 pm Since Cowboys WR Roy Williams (ribs) has been unable to practice this week, it is most likely that he will miss this weekend's game. Miles Austin should be the starter opposite Patrick Crayton. Austin would be making the first start of his four-year career.

1:55:38 pm Looks like C Andre Gurode will be a go this week for the Cowboys against the Chiefs but there's no such good news for WR Roy Williams, RB Felix Jones and S Gerald Sensabaugh. Coach Wade Phillips told the media that Gurode was really the only one who improved enough to play on Sunday.

If I had to pick one of these four to play in this game it would be Gurode. Could not bare a Sunday of Proctor being launched into the backfield, and a Monday of Proctor must go threads.

I'm glad Andre Gurode is playing, he may be the hardest to replace of the injured players looking to go this week.

Is the assumption being made that Ogletree will be activated, due to Roy Williams injury, or that he will play for the same reason?

Ogletree will be the 4th receiver and won't see many snaps.

I will believe it when it happens. Sounds like RW11 will be a game day decision. Thing is, do they keep Ogletree active just in case Roy can't go. And who gets deactivated in his place.

Don't you have basically till game time to decide whether Roy will be active or not? If he's active, then I don't think Ogletree will be. If they make both of them active, then they might not have to deactivate anyone else, since Sensebaugh is out as well.

I hope he gets a few snaps if hes active. He should. Isn't like there a couple of studs in front of him tearing up the scene.

500yds, 6 TD's, and three KO returns:laugh2:

Our 4th wide reciever got called on in the last game. He delivered on one ....

Ogletree might be worth a play or two, as KC will not have much clue as to what he can do.

You're on. I say it will be close to 50/50. If we get up then I look for them to run the heck out of the ball.

Why does he have to play to have this happen? Isn't is SOP?

I think they need to be named 15 minutes before KO. The list of the 45 active and 8 inactives are given to the officials at that time.
