There was 2:05 on the clock when Pollard ran for something like 7 yards and the refs called tripping on the wrong team. At the time, the Lions had the 2 minute warning as one of their timeouts. They were counting on that. But after the play, the clock ran down to the 2 minute warning. Dallas still has a first down if they accept the penalty, but now lose the 2 minute warning as a result. They can't decline the penalty because that would make it 2nd and 3.

What if BigMac just said, hold everyone on this run play. Force a flag and we'll get this to the 2 minute warning. Or, do a really obvious pick play leaving a WR wide open for a big gain, again, forcing a flag. This would remove the two minute warning as an advantage for the defense.
