I finally quit WoW. Catalysm ruined a bunch of stuff for me and after 5 years I'm getting quite bored with it.

Thought I'd try out LOTRO and see how I like it.

Anyone wanna give some noob info?

Good servers(Central time zone)?
Quick ways to make money.
Any class info that might be needed. I played most classes on Wow but my mains were Pally, Priest. I like the classes that fill more than one role.

I have been looking at the forums as well.

Thanks!

Sell everything you collect and do not buy equipment till 50+ lvls.

Every class is needed ...... Guards and Minstrels are always easy to find groups with.

Do not join a newb guild ...... shop around for a good guild first.

thanks Zrinkill

For god's sake don't play on Zrinkill's server. :D He's right though. Sell everything and don't invest until lvl 50+ and NEVER SKIP YOUR EPIC QUEST LINE QUESTS.

Pretty cool game. I do wish they would upgrade the GFX.

I have a 50 Guard and my girl has a 50+ Min

We get groups in like 5 minutes.

Check out the Captain class and the Warden. I think you might like the Warden.

Armed with spears and javelins as their weapons of choice, Wardens use a gambit system to execute powerful combo attacks at the front lines. Unlike other tank classes, the warden uses medium armour and as such relies on self-healing in addition to blocking, parrying and evading. Wardens excel at holding aggro on numerous foes once through the use of area-of-effect taunts and the transference of threat away from others. Most of the Warden's skills are in the form of Gambits, which take 3 basic elements (main hand attack, defensive shield bash, warden's taunt) and combine as many as five builders to create moves greater than the sum of their parts.
Unlocking the Warden for non-subscribers costs 795 Turbine Points from the LOTRO Store.

Available Races: Elf, Hobbit, Man

thanks for the info.

Just logged on for a minute last night and rolled a Hobbit Burglar. It's LOTR, gotta have a Hobbit Burglar, right.
