Lots of talk about pick 2 of 3 (Diggs, Lamb or Parsons)

105.3 The Fan brought up today on their podcast that scenario where if you knew that you could keep only 2 of the 3 between Diggs, Lamb, or Parsons - which would you choose? I've heard this topic come up quite a bit over the offseason. Most of the time, whoever was discussing the topic came to the conclusion that Diggs was the most expendable.

I'm in the minority on this, but I would sign Diggs, Lamb and trade Parsons immediately. Signing all 3 and then re-structuring Dak will keep the team in cap hell for a long time IMO. I think trading Parsons now would give the Cowboys the opportunity to build draft capital for the future and avoid falling into the trap of paying insane money for one player. Sorry I just don't see Parsons as a generational player, more like top 2 or top 3 defensive player. I would not be paying QB money for that but knowing that there are teams that would trade for him as if he is.

What would you do in this scenario?

Can you please refrain from using Canadian slang? That stuff gives me a headache!
In Service, ever put on a Company Level picnic? Porta pottys are very useful for the right purpose and hide a lot of wrong stuff. The party was done on my property outside of Fort Knox, Ky.

All three don't go anywhere unless lightening strikes Dallas and no games are further played at AT&T Stadium.

Certainly not Diggs, not a great tackling effort at times, tries to jump routes far too often and gets burned in coverage..
A lot of Cowboys fans would agree with you. But it begs the question. If you are going to overpay for one of the players, wouldn't be safer to overpay for a CB or would you risk overpaying for Parsons? Like I said, I don't want to pay QB money for a player that might be overhyped in terms of being a generational talent..

Wherever you are from, please don't use Canadian slang. I'd rather you tell fart jokes.

This is just an off season hypothetical what if ti take up a segment on a slow news day.

I’m sure people will have opinions but it’s pointless at this point other than what is essentially navel gazing.

Keys for the bus is already in the hands of Dak Prescott, while responsibility is all on the shoulders of McCarthy. The other two will be Cowboys for a very long time with influx of TV revenues still growing quite rapidly.

I don't play with the truth and speak as I so choose. Listen to the reason offered, not ignoring vehicle of associations with them. Canadian? really smart guy? If you choose to degrade, Hey...let's go, you start if off. An argument is what you want...I'm waiting, not provoking.

In importance to the Cowboys:

1. Parsons
2. Lamb
3. Diggs

Doesn't seem that complicated.
In terms of pure talent, I would agree with you. But I think you'd also have to agree that signing Parsons will be the most difficult in terms of the salary cap.

Diggs is no Deion Sanders. and offensive coordinators don't scheme all week to shut down Diggs, they worry all week about an elite pass rusher and a disruptor all along the line of scrimmage who can line up at defensive tackle, defensive end, linebacker, and can cover backs and Tightends.. I'm sorry, but it's a no brainer for me...

I'm trying to be nice. Seriously, Canadian slang gives me a headache. Even Google Translate won't touch the Canadian language. Please refrain from using it or I might have to block you.

No that's a fair argument. Maybe Diggs is the most expendable.

He would be but he’s also the one that if you don’t sign him you take a step back.
