Bigger field, forward motion is legal, can't be within 5 yards of the return man when he's fielding the ball - perfect for a small, quick guy like Whitehead.

The money isn't great, though, by NFL standards. He's making less than the NFL minimum.

I’ll always cheer for Whitehead.

From my hometown, played at my rival high school and is still active in the community and with the kids.

Boy the day when someone used his name in Woodbridge to get out of robbing a WAWA was a crazy week. I was confused as to why he’d go all the way back to nova just to rob a WAWA lol. Two days later some goons in Dallas (shoutout CJ Kasino and crew) stole his dog because he ran afoul of some gambling debts with them, true story.

Wild week for Lucky lol

Good for him. Remember him at fau and always sort of rooted for the guys at the smaller colleges.

CFL has been a minor Pro League its entire existence.

Which is why anyone claiming stats accrued there should count towards the HOF is full of crap (Warren Moon, etc)

A CFL team has beat an NFL team a few times, 1961 being the latest, Hamilton over Buffalo.

True.

For the most part though, it is a league of players that, in general, at best would make an NFL practice squad.

In other words, by far even worse than what Philly trotted out vs Dallas in week 18
But hey, we got 5 passing TDs and a Cowboy record!

I hate how receivers in Canadian football get set 10 yards behind the los and take off before the snap. It’s corny.

Never understood how George Reed the CFL's Jim Brown stayed in Canada all those years, he wasn't a Canadian actually played at Washington State. You'd think the NFL would come calling. Maybe they did.

My youngest graduated with him and were pretty good friends. He always came to her basketball and volleyball games.

Great kid, always said hi and was polite when I talked with him.

Wow, 200k a year is the highest paid WR in the CFL? It's good money, yeah, but for as long as the CFL has been around, I'd think they'd be getting paid more by now.

Small world! Do you live in the Manassas area still? I grew up there and left after graduating from George Mason at 22

My mom was an Eagle as well. I’m a little older and was around more during the Brandon Hogan (33) days

Haha..

My oldest graduated with Brandon. I remember going to state championship game and he was like a man against boys. I remember the other team chanting "one man team" and thinking if ti's 1 against 11, y'all should be whippin' us. Haha. Was it against Chantilly?

Still here, both my girls are now Texans though.
