I failed to notice until seeing it on dallascowboys.com that we used Gifford as the fullback on Pollard's TD run. (I thought it was Ferguson, who also was out there.) Gifford didn't get much of a block, but he got in the way well enough as Pollard followed him through the hole.

I guess they had to find something besides STs for him to do. Wasn't going to be LB.

SURPRISED THEY DIDN'T RUSH MCGOVERN BACK to play full back, and letting Smith go to guard, Peters go to tackle just for this one play

I'm sure the linebacker were happier seeing Gifford coming at them than Farniok or McGovern. Who knows, if we keep Peters in reserve, maybe he'll get to play some fullback. As a former tight end, he might actually be a bit of a passing game option.

I always liked Luke,I think he's a decent lb and a very high motor guy..he need more chances imo
