Seems like a good option to move to G. Nice looking player, great movement skills. I would prefer to get Green in 1 but there are definitely quality options for G beyond round one. I'd guess he goes Rd 2 or 3. And yes I like him because his name kind of looks like mine. Number 67, RT in these clips

Is he rising fast? I don't see him anywhere in the top 100.

I forget where I saw it, some twitter personality had him going in two.

He would definitely be in the top 5 for OG.

Green
Johnson
Smith
Strange
Bruss/Goedeke

Big fan. 1 of a few guards we couldpotentially get in the 3rd that could likely start right away. Which is why I hope they don’t insist on forcing the position in the 1st

Goedeke
Salyer
Hayes
Rhyan

Be patient and we can get a quality starter

That should be the goal. To draft a player that can play right away. He doesn't have to be Larry Allen.

He has been injured often going back to high school.

Connor McGovern was supposed to be a third-round steal. I don't mind if they "insist on forcing the position" in the first, if there is a player there who is worth it. Even though it's not guaranteed, there's generally a greater chance of that player being starting-quality than ones we could get in the third.

There are good players who can be found in every round, but finding those good ones gets harder as the draft progresses. To me, guard is our greatest need, so I'm not going to be upset if they address that first. I'm not happy with them for not addressing it in FA so that it wouldn't be our greatest need, but not much can be done about that.

Same here. There's a definite 'mcGovern line' in any draft where you're no longer replacing a problem player with a better one, but just a different one. I would prefer to take the best one (Green) early than hope we'll get a good enough one later. Especially when the best one is a really good prospect.

The fact we did nothing in free agency to address the need has likely pigeon-holed us into taking an OG at some point in the first two rounds.

ll take Johnson if I have a choice and start him at Center
Draft Zac Tom in rd 3 to play OG or sign an adequate starter in FA.
Center is the reason we have struggled on OL IMO

I could go either way, but I just want the best interior player we can get, whoever that is. I don't really want us to pass on better players if they fall to us, but I kind of feel like there's little choice because we're weakest on the interior line (besides Martin, of course). There are other needs, but that's the one that's blaring.
