Madden 19 Isn't Worth A Dime

Madden might be the worst franchise out there right now. The level of incompetence within EA is unbelievable, and I just got done watching Madden 19 CPU Vs. CPU footage, and the AI is some of the worst I've ever seen.



A couple of examples here

Go to 20:43 - Wentz has open field to run, he instead turns to the sideline and tosses a 2 yard pass to Jeffrey.

Go to 28:04 - This is indicative of the problem Madden has with O-Line/D-Line play. The suction blocking is still there and has been an issue since PS2 Madden games. Brady had enough time to call Gisele for some sexy time, then order a pizza, and take a nap and he still ended up scrambling away from a rush and throwing on the run. So not only is the offensive and defensive line play broken, but QB AI has absolutely no logic in it.

"Hate" is not a good enough way to describe how I feel about EA. It's one company I can't wait to see go bankrupt - I have no idea how they put out disappointing game after disappointing game and still reign supreme. I guess just blame the audience.

Wait they are making it on PC again? I might wait a little and see if it goes on sale. Still sucks they have the exclusive but I loved paying the PC versions before they stopped, especially Franchise Mode.

I'll wait until I see how the modding community does - Madden 08 still has a pretty active modding community and has a lot of script changers to make the game playable.

But this is on the Frostbite engine, so it'll be tough to mod. The QB AI and line play is just atrocious to look at and frustrating that I can't justify giving my money to EA.

Wow for being on Frostbite the graphics are uh-mediocre.

I believe{?} Madden is coming back to the PC this year. But as someone mentioned with EA at the helm don't get your hopes up. They ruin everything they put their paws on{Madden, Medal of Honor, Command And Conquer etc} Cant stand em…...

Keep dreaming of the day EA doesn't have exclusive rights.

Until then, I'll be downloading the roster hacked Tecmo Bowl every September.
