Anyone have the same kinda gripes about the graphics? I think I have 3 main points that have always drove me nuts.

1. Blank expressions. Like someone could be getting tackled to the ground and their face looks the same all the way through.

2. Robotic running. Looks really weird and the run speed has no variance so it just seems so fake.

3. Player detail causing a bit of detachment from the Stadiums. Nothing better than a highly detailed coach or QB and then in the background the fans are just a texture pasted onto the stands that move here and there. It kind of makes the game look silly to be honest. Even the field suffers from this. It's like they've made the field too colorful/bright and it just doesn't blend well.

This isn't to say I don't like Madden, I just don't play it anymore really. These are some things I've noticed though. I think the last football game I really enjoyed was 2k5 and prior to that the Joe Montana Sports Talk Football. Old games though. What do you think?

There are limitations to what they can do. It's not like you can add more memory to your console or change the graphics card for better performance.

The running is alot better in this years game IMO.

Madden got rid of the turbo in 11, that's why the run speed has no variance.

2K is still the best.

Hey, I play Madden more than I like to admit. But 2K was definitely the best game. They never should have sold out. Just imagine.

I will say the online play of Madden '11 is great, especially team mode. I'm waiting on a few franchises to see how that works. But if all this were done under 2K's engine and style it would be something cool.

Playing Madden on the PC was my favorite game. I remember doing franchises and taking hours to do my drafts.

Then I got the Ps3 version when the stopped it.:cry2: That was a horrid game I hated it so much I just stopped playing.

I still wonder what it would be like if 2K had continued to make the 2k NFL series. Can you imagine what it would look like now? NFL 2K5 is Still my fav NFL game ever made. I say, get rid of EA's liscense and bring back the NFL 2K series! Madden needs more competition!

The graphics are actually the least of my complaints about Madden. If Madden's graphics were its weakest point, it'd be one hell of a game.

A lot of Madden's issues lay in glitches, presentation and depth of play, and you can't fix that with just an upgraded graphics engine.

2K5 wasn't even the best of the 2K series.

But that period was pretty damn good for football games. Stupid NFL/EA.

EA has been putting out inferior products ever since they aggressivelyseeked out the exclusive NFL license. Who can blame them? People flock to Madden like sheep year in and year out, so there is no reason to change the current status quo.

It's difficult to be optimistic for another Madden game, when it pretty much looks like the same as the previous years with a handful of minor tweaks. Buying out the comp is a great move for EA, but it sucks for us fans. Most people are just settling for what is out there.

There used to be a choice when it came to NFL football games. When EA loses that license it will put 2K Sports back on the map. Can't wait.
