We thought we were ready. … We weren’t and that’s as flat as any team I’ve seen. We’ve got to get back
We basically played what seemed lackadaisical.\

On Tuesday, owner Jerry Jones didn't mince words when describing how his club performed, saying on 105.3 The Fan that the Cowboys were "internally overconfident" and "not ready to play" against the fired-up Broncos.

Sounds like standard stuff to me (for the Skins) ... maybe he's never seen a Skins game before? lol

"Tonight the Commanders played with no intensity or fire," the Basketball Hall of Famer and Commanders limited owner tweeted postgame.
"We didn't compete in the first half and got down 27-3 heading into halftime. It was too big of a hole to climb out of and that is why we ended up losing 40-20."

This shouldn't surprise anyone who knows Magic........I said before, that he may not have the patience required to be an NFL owner. Even if what was said was true, throwing your coach and players under the bus as an owner will get old.

He didn't really rip the team. It's pretty straight forward stuff, they played with no intensity and dug a huge hole they couldn't get out of.
How many times have heard this on Twitter/X from other owners after a loss, especially this early in the season?

They're 2-3 and just lost their 3rd game in a row to arguably the worst team in football. Ownership has a legit gripe here. Is it early enough where they can turn 2-3 around? I highly doubt it. This is a new regime and the message is pretty clear, they aren't going to put up with it. You think coddling is going to help at this point? Rivera hasn't been very good and his days are numbered.

Magic owns less than 2% and already trying to establish himself as the face of the franchise

That was an embarrassing outing. They are attempting to prove they are a playoff contender. You cannot lose the games you are supposed to win. That was no different than Dallas attempting to prove they are a SB contender and losing to Arizona.

Rivera is definitely going to be on a hotter seat than he was before.

I don't see him back in 24.
