The latest question. Remember these are from fans, not from the staff. In case anyone says it is a stupid question. Could be from someone new learning football.

Nick is correct as we know this answer. But he missed the point to make about why they do not rotate OL vs. DT.
His point for a Taclke eligible it spot on but we also already know this.

DT's are easier to rotate, as it also depends on down and distance, passing down or running down. as well to keep them fresh. They are a bit more interchangeable.
But for the OL, you need that continuity as they need to work as group more than the DL. Yes the DL needs that also, but not in the same way the OL does.

This ideal is as dumb as rotating QBs.

They are very obviously formulating the offense. It is interesting watching people react to every stray thought that comes out form the prospect. MM already changed the protection scheme.

Right on! OL and DL are totally different. Continuity is key with an effective OL.

Another very good article from Mickey. About the OL and some good info. I will add it here instead of creating a new thread.
Talks about Steele and his recovery as well.

One thing he wrote about. MM said that since he has been here, they have not lined up the starting 5 in consecutive games one time.

McCarthy said last week at the NFL Meetings in Phoenix, Ariz., about the offensive line. "Seventeen games is a long year. We haven't had the five linemen with consecutive starts during my time here. You have to pay attention to those statistics. They're real. We've lived it. We've lived that the last three years. So with that, we need to train that way."
