"Nick Eatman: I think the all-in move would be to fix a problem that we don't actually see right now."

Nick may be right. Before they make any more moves lets see what they can do with what they have. My biggest question marks are at guard and RB but the answer might already be on the roster as well so lets see. If/when an issue comes up i'd like to see them be aggressive and make a move early.

The way they didn't address either position, I think they aren't near as worried about it as we are.

I think they did address the positions I just don't know if they did so adequately enough. Esp the RB room with a couple of rookies and davis they should be ok but i'd like to see them in action on the field and hope they get out of camp clean.

The only all in move, if you wanna call it, is to be on the lookout for a vet OT. We all know someone who i won't name here will be injured and then the fun begins on the OL. They are counting on The Great Waletzko or underwhelming Ball coming in and performing at an acceptable level....that is a very risky assumption. And the rookies aren't ready yet. I wouldn't put all my eggs in that basket with a hole in it. A chain is as strong as its weakest link.

Sooner or later they will have to make this move. I rather them make this move during TC than during the season. I won't hold my breath though.

Does it seem contradictory to anyone else that a fan worrying about big contracts and keeping young players wants to make an ‘all-in’ move that would require spending money needed to do those things?

All-in moves needed when you are 1-2 players away. Lets look at the major holes in the roster.
Kicker - ? Mark
LBs - bit of a problem
OL - who is the RT at the start of the season and LG , and who is backing up…
RB - Pollard is not the bell cat and also not pile pusher
OC & Playcaller - whether there will be growing pains?
