Nick says ST's coach John Fassell. As the defense will be one of the best still, and the offense still needs some playmakers. But over all the team will still be a top team.
And can all go sideways if Fassell does not replace some ST's players.

Kurt says it is easy to say it falls on McCarthy, since he is taking over the offense, and with many new coaches on that side of the ball.
But he says the new OL coach Solari, needs to figure out the best, and does he tell Tyron he needs to take a back seat to Tyler, or any other moves that may need to be made.

I wonder if we see more of an impact from Turpin and returns this season.
Last year as the season went on, he was learning the NFL as well, coming off of playing football for what, almost a year straight without much of any rest. By the time December rolled around, we seen mistakes he was not making early on.
So as he got more adept to the NFL he was also wearing down.

Now with a full off-season of rest and a year of experience. Will we see bigger returns, some TD's as well.

Yes they need to work him into getting a few snaps a game, and try to get the ball to him, not just a speedster decoy to stretch the field.
But make these plays not predictable, as to, if he is on the field, a defense doesn't assume they will throw his direction, nor think he is just a decoy.
MM needs to be creative there and make him a legitimate threat.

It's all on MM....he wants to call the plays...that tells me that he is confident in the offensive staff and personnel.

Robert Prince, new WR coach in 2022. Did no favors for Tolbert, Turbin, or Brown. He probably had as much to do with Gallup’s down year as he did with CD’s rise: odds are CD was going to develop with it without his help. It’s the fringe talent that makes position coaches shine.

Solari, Schottenheimer, Tolzien in no particular order. All interchangeable and who all have massive responsibilities to ensure SleepNumber succeeds.

Lamb and Gallup had a significant number of route running miscues in 2022.

Lamb seemed to clean things up late in the season, but he had been in the same offense for 2 years prior 2022.

Gallup's issues in 2022 seemed to be more than just physical limitations due to recovering from the knee injury.

None of the WRs that were new to the team contributed or showed any development in 2022.

Noah Brown had a career year but he's had many years to develop and the WR coach was new as of 2022.

Noah Brown had a career year but he's had many years to develop and the WR coach was new as of 2022.

Responsibility can't be delegated...all the way down a chain of leadership. This usually falls directly back upon the Head Coach....and is not reflective upon closer to a good 'ol boys management.

Its the offense and not even close. Just about any offensove coach, esp the HC have a bigger effect on the game.

I'm thinking it would be Schottenheimer. He's got to prepare the offense for games in which his boss, the HC, will be calling the plays. He is replacing someone that, other than Dak it seems, received most of the blame for the Cowboys offensive sputtering last season.

There is also a great deal of pressure associated with his last name. His father, Marty, was an NFL HC for 213 years. He is #7 all time among NFL HC's for games won with 205. He is also the only HC in history with over 200 wins but no championships. He is the only HC with 200 wins that isn't in the HOF.

OL coach - heard he has only had average performances at the last spots he’s been at (the fan show) - if the oline is a top 5 unit everything else will be elevated…got to give dak extra time to go through progressions
