This is what happens when you have bad coaching.

As I said last week, the richest sports team on the planet but goes cheap when it hires coaches when there isn't any salary restriction.

Makes ZERO sense to me.

Lol. I hear ya. Game day situational awareness is not quite the positive calling card of the HC or the QB1.
Not the 2 most cerebral guys holding the top 2 positions of leadership for the team.

But hey, decision making is over rated at the highest levels, right?
Lol

When you have not one, but two games in a single season where you screwed up late game clock management so badly that three kneel downs are better than what you actually called on your clock draining drive then it IS as bad as some fans claim.
I didn’t say there weren’t any times. just that many times they are not as bad. Fans would whine about water being free.

Hi from Spain,

Can somebody explain me why in the last 20-25 years the Cowboys are so bad managing the game clock at the end of the games ???
That's a question with a false premise. For the entire 20-25 years the Cowboys have not been bad at clock management. So you don't deserve an honest answer if you can't ask an honest question. Way to represent Spain! :muttley:

And if you watch a lot of football you see it around the league. Some of it is not bad clock management but a play just didn’t work, or something didn’t happen as expected. But the coaches and staff of every teams make questionable clock decisions a lot more than fans think

Didn't we lose one game because of the offense not getting the final play off in time?...Then our QB ran OB when he should have slid in another game? (Still win, but it was poor clock management nonetheless.)

I don't think money is an obstacle. I think it's a lack of willingness to cede total control.

Hi from everywhere ,

The numbers prove that this year we’ve been in the top 5 teams for clock management. Why are you talking about this now when it’s not really an issue.

I don't think it's cheap, after all he paid Parcells. It's all about running everything " from jocks to socks " .

So it's got to be a yes man.
That's why I do not see Payton here, unless Jerry sees the grim reaper outside his door and is ready to try at least "shared power".
