Marcus Maye - Jets is a free agent at the end of the year

Just throwing this out there. He's a FA, pretty good, but not a bank breaker. He also had some not too complimentary words regarding the Jets coaching staff after today's loss.

Jets safety Marcus Maye repeatedly said after the loss that there should've been a better play call from defensive coordinator Gregg Williams

"We have to execute, but you have to help us out at the same time," Maye said.

I approve. My guess is that the jets have an all new coaching staff next year plus plenty of cap space to give maye a generous deal though. Hope I’m wrong.
