I (and BP) know her from the cancelled NBC series Heroes. She played a character who was nearly impossible to kill because of her superhuman healing ability. She also did one of those (idiotic) Scream movies recently and I think she has done some soap opera work in the past as well.

She also tries to save dolphins or whales. I remember she went to Iceland's government to speak out against it and she was in that documentary "The Cove". I would put a video in here but that is a brutal thing to see the ocean turn red from hundreds of dolphins' blood.
