Even though he’s playing other college guys, he looks to have SOOOOO MUCH MORE juice and passion @ NT than his former teammate Bohanna shows on a play-by-play basis. He was listed @ 379 on the Kentucky roster, but is now 6024, 346. Might be worth a look in the 5th if Dallas does what they normally do and pass on, say, Travis Jones in Round 2.

Strengths

• Surprising initial quickness off the snap. Relies mostly on a simple bull rush at this point, which is quite effective in collapsing the pocket.
• Provides some secondary interior pass rush, getting most penetration when playing three technique.
• His ability to clog running lanes, however, is a talent highly coveted in the NFL.
• Can make the impressive chest-to-chest bear hug tackle in the hole due to his ability to wreak havoc in the backfield.
• He's clearly a boom or bust prospect, but has the unique physical gifts make him a candidate to play up and down the line in either front.
• Gets his big hands up to block passes if unable to beat his man, and follows the quarterback on moving pockets and sniffs out screens.
• Pops off tape due to his explosive first few steps. While powerful, doesn't rock the guard/ center back with his upper-body strength or explode into tackles.

Weaknesses

• He struggles with leverage off the snap and plays too tall, limiting his effectiveness as a pass rusher.
• Short arms could lead to problems against NFL-caliber offensive linemen with longer arms able to get into his chest.
• Isn't able to consistently shed blocks and makes plays in the hole.
