I want them more involved in the offense. I expected more from each of them. It would surely help Roy and Witten if these two step it up.

On another note, seems like every time Crayton makes a big catch (20+ yards), a stupid penalty happens.

On yet another note, except for the dropped TD pass, I was pleased with Roy's blocking and receiving tonight.

6 months ago, I never would have said this, but Miles Austin is looking more and more like JAG.

Sorry. I'm just sayin'.

I really like Marty B and am hoping he will end up breaking out like we were all predicting this preseason, but he hasn't really looked all that sharp out there so far.

Crayton runs so slow it gives the offense too much time to screw up.

Teams are selling out vs our pass right now because they know Garrett won't stick to the run.

Why do you think the lead draw works every single time?

Teams need to just keep selling out against our pass and let us run it for 200 every game.

Martellus looks like the immature focus lacking kid out of college that dropped in the draft...that was one of the worst routes I have ever seen on the fade route he ran

Gotta say I expected more from Bennett at this point. Where are all the matchup problems fans/analysts were predicting?

Probably because he didn't run a fade...

I think it was miscommunication between him and Tony. Marty B might be a bit of a kid, but I don't think he's immature on the field.

I agree. He is in a sophomore slump right now. Not too surprising as he isn't just working off natural talent alone. He's probably thinking too much. He's a better athlete than he showed tonite.

For all the hype, Bennett has been a non-factor. He has two drops the last two games and hasn't looked dynamic in the least. It's one thing I would like to see improvement from in the coming games.

As for Austin, the just a guy thing seems accurate. He's an OK player, but isn't eliciting any fear from anyone.

Tellus has the ability to bounce out of this, I think. He's got the size to do it. Miles, though, is screwed if you ask me. He's the definition of a role player, and a fringe one at that. He is our Greg Lewis.

Probably doesn't help that defenses are actually covering him this year.

Bennett is too good an athlete for us to not figure out a way to get him involved. I hope he doesn't get frustrated. His time is coming.

Exactly.

Everyone wants us to run run run and stop passing, but we're running well because most teams are playing pass defense against us.

I still dont trust this Oline blocking when its a known running down/play.

Apparently, Garrett doesn't either. That goal line series where he opted to throw the two fades...
