Martellus dunking over Coach Fran..

I can't wait to see him line up in the slam dunk formation.

its a repost but a ton of people haven't seen it yet i am sure.

i wonder what it is like to go from big man on campus to nfl nobody, must take some adjusting to.

Wonder how many are going to have to retract their pessimistic statements re Bennett by end of TC/preseason games.

I hope he turns out to be the best tight end ever. Most of the pessimism that I have noted is due to the fact he will not be ready this year -- he will take a few years to develop.

And last I checked, dunking a basketball over someone isn't asked for much in the NFL. I hope he demonstrates outstanding TE skills in camp, and knows the playbook.

So people are really down on former baseball players but we are supposed to get all hot and bothered over a former basketball player?

The former baseball players weren't playing football for a few years before joining Dallas. Bennett has been playing football. I never considered Quincy a former baseball player in the same manner as Hutch and Henson because his college football immediately proceeded his days in Dallas. Hutch and Henson each were away from football for a few years while they tried baseball.

Bennett dunking the basketball is nothing to brag about. He has shown good potential on the football field and that is what I like and hope he develops.

just like to highlight the irony.

it's hard to get excited over someone who sits around the field all day (baseball), as opposed to someone constantly moving and dunking (basketball0

Nobody has ever doubted his ability from the neck down.

I will say this ... if he turns out to be .01% of the player he thinks he is, he'll be the greatest NFL TE of all time.

It's not a 66 foot vertical if you pick your feet up. But he is a good athlete. Wilson had a 39.5 vert at the combine, which is very good.

Terrence Newman had a 41.

Jump balls should be really interesting with this guy in the future.
