Dallas seems somewhat speed challenged offensively. Tolbert wasn’t a blip on the radar screen in week 1 as the #3 wide receiver.

Mims seems to be in the dog house for some reason in Denver, in spite of being drafted in the second round (#63 overall). He isn’t playing much other than some special teams.

A trade like this might make sense for both teams. Dallas gives up a late round pick in return for a lottery ticket.

What say you?

Maybe if Mims was picked by the old regime in Denver, but they(Payton) traded up for him last year.

If they were thinking of cutting loose after one year, that would raise flags.

I'll say the famous words, "we like our guys!" If anything Flournoy plays, but it's the first game, and people say that guys aren't doing anything, but how many opportunities were they actually given

Something might be coming. Why did the Cowboys clear more cap space by restructuring Steele's contract. They did not have to do that.

I'd be all for it, but am skeptical Denver would let him go for a late pick this year on. Lets see how the next few weeks plays out, but I think the Cowboys will be deadline shopping for both a WR and a RB. Maybe there is a TY Hilton type of pickup in free agency to be had this year?

I'm not seeing the fit when Dallas has Turp, Deuce and Cropper (PS). Also, Cooks is a smaller fast guy too. One of Tolbert, Brooks or Flournoy will step up and be productive give it time.

I say I like the idea of adding speed to the O. Lamb is a great open field runner and tough but he is not a home run hitter. Turpin is but he is but he is too small to give a heavy load to. I like the idea.

It is curious that the Cowboys did that. But I see them making a move for a RB.
