I work downtown, so I'll either wander over to the parade route or go to the season ticket holder event at the end.

Yup. I work downtown as well and told my boss yesterday that I'll be disappearing for a few hours Thursday morning

Still debating about going to Dealey Plaza or to the AAC though...

Im in town visiting family. Just excited that I get to witnesses my team celebrate. You guys have any advice for me as to where I should try and dad watch the parade at? I was told to taking the train would be my best bet.

Yeah, there's only 60,000 parking spots downtown, or so I've heard. So I'll be taking the train too.

If you're not already downtown for work, Victory Plaza (outside the arena) would be cool. You could watch the whole parade on the big screen and then see the team at the very end. Knowing Cuban, they may even have concessions out there too.

1. Drove my normal route into work today...went right by Houston street where the Hooters is (right by I-35), and there were already a TON of people camped out at like 6:45 AM!

2. My normal $4/day parking lot is price gouging today.."$10! Just for today!"

maybe the funniest thing about this craziness of over 250,000 people in one spot was the little clip on the news they showed of people literally pulling over on 35 and parking their cars to watch the parade. People swerving not to hit these cars.

Traffic is going to be a NIGHTMARE today. Like Red River Shootout traffic X 3 easily.

The parade was awesome! I was right at Houston & Elm...right across the street from the 6th Floor Museum

Sooooo many people! I took a lot of pics, most of them from my phone way above my head, so hopefully some of them came out okay. I'll check them out and see if any are post-able...

on a side note, i remember my husband & i along with his family went to the sixth floor museum in 2007. it was quite an experience.
