I am the first to admit that I thought Mazzi was a late 2nd or 3-rounder and not the DT 1 that would be impactful
or worthy of a round-one selection.
What has come out after the pick is that a lot of Mazzi's perceived slowness or stiffness in attacking is due to
the two-gapping he was asked to do and Dallas brass clearly thinks in a one-gap attacking scheme his potential is
much higher in causing disruption and stopping the run.
That reasoning opens me up to be more hopeful about Mazzi.
