W/ my first one, I predicted wed keep Roy, T.O., and Henry and cut Ellis. Clearly I meant the opposite.
2nd (51) Duke Robinson G/T - OK -Im into versatile linemen this year, who knows what hole needs to be plugged w/ this group. Duke can start at both guards and RT. Nail biter whether or not he lasts. Definetely worth a small trade up if neccesary.
3rd(69) Pat White QB/WR/PR -WVU- This offense could use a slot WR who could take a slant to the house. Should be a great PR. His running is similar to Felix Jones'. Based more on acceleration and angles rather than juking. Ive seen this guy take over games, I dont know that about Johny Knox.
Trade 4th (97) and 5th(148) for 89.
Troy Kropug - LT - Still 10-15 lbs light. But has a tenacity Flo doesnt seem to have. Should be ready to protect Romos blindside by next year for years to come.
4th(113) Samie Lee Hill -NT- Stillman (6'4" 320) Was the man at a small school. Should excel w/ less responsibility.
5th(153) Jasper Brinkley - ILB - SC - Cantys injuries didnt scare us off. Similar prospect, who had a similar fall in stock
Comp 5th- Dominique Johnson - CB/S - Jackson ST. Faster than he ran. Could be 4th corner, or backup FS.
6(189) Traded for a 5th next year.
Comp 6th- Stryker Zular -DE/OLB Missouri (6'4, 250) - Pure pass rusher. 10.5 sacks and 6 forced fumbles last year.
Two remaining 7ths may be used in trade ups along w/ Carpenter.
