What do you guys think of MBIII? He looks a little slower to me and he really didn't do anything until the 4th quarter vs. Atlanta. He was stopped behind the line a lot early. Do you think it's because of the quad injury? And why the hell aren't they using him as a receiver coming out of the backfield. He did very well last year in that role. I'm just confused as to why he isn't being used totally. When the D bends its ears back and comes after Tony, a screen pass can be a big gainer with MBIII taking on DBs. I like his chances in that matchup.

he was dancing too much behind the line and Atlanta played the run well yesterday.

Hes playing hurt, you can see that easily. I think its time Wade steps up and tells barber he needs to take a game off. I love Barber but I want to see him get healthy and if you ask me, if we keep playing him every week hurt, that injury is just gonna linger until he gets rest.

MBIII looked so much better before the injury its obvious. He looked quick and had a bounce to his step that is lacking right now.

He looked great picking up the blitz and we really needed him for that in this game..

He slowed down after the quad injury. It's only logical to assume that he's still slowed by the quad injury.

He has a broken thumb. That will affect his ability catching passes and the coaches have taken that aspect into account. Until that resolves itself, expect to see him either rushing the ball or pass blocking, which he is still the most proficient in doing over Felix Jones and Tashard Choice (even though they have both noticeably improved in that area).

The really good news is that Choice and Felix did an outstanding job picking up the blitz as well. Felix rocked a rusher on one play.

Good point on the pass blocking item. I did notice that during the game on Sunday. I just think if the D is coming after Tony, a little swing or screen pass, would be a great call to keep the D guessing and may pick up some big yards. An slightly injured MBIII is stilll more powerful than most DB's. But I do agree, he had a hop in his step the first game until the injury. I just love the way he plays ...... he's a beast.

He has a broken thumb.

So he is still suffering the ill affects of a quad injury, and has a broken thumb, .. and yet I am supposed to believe that he is still better than TC.

I don't think so.

Somebody needs to wise up, or man up, and get the best players on the field.

Let's get Barber healthy.

obviously, Atlanta was geered to stop the run--that's why we burned them with the passing game--but what's Seattle going to game plan to stop? I would hate to be a D coordinator and have to stop the 'Boys.
