Im a Penn State fan…want nothing to do with Smith unless it’s a 5th (which isn’t happening)

Great all around measurables for a LB, but doesn’t show on the field. He’s bad at dealing with any kind of blocking and lacks general physicality for a LB. I actually like Penn State’s starting MLB Ellis Brooks more.

Brisker is really interesting and deserves a close look for sure. Can do everything you need a safety to do.

Tariq Castro-Fields is also a 6’1 CB with 4.38 speed…

Agree on Brandon Smith. Terrific size and athletic ability but he doesn't consistently show up on the field.
- Definitely tempting if he falls far enough because Quinn & Parsons might get the best from him, but it's more likely that he'll be over-drafted by somebody.

Well Cox did go in the 4th…and while I obviously hope for the best, Cox hasn’t done anything to point him out as a success story yet.

In my opinion If you want a big safety just draft 1, I don’t think Smith excels enough in coverage to make up for his short comings in the run game.

Same. It's like repeating the same Smith mistake but taller, and without the prior injury as an excuse.

He may end up a stud, but seems very boom or bust.

As a central PA lifer and HUGE PSU fan, I agree with everything you said.
Would love to get Brisker. Ebiketie has potential to be a very good rusher, but I saw a lot of inconsistency from him this year.
