Lol yeah well he must not realize how close they are to going into a complete tail spin. Better rattle off a few wins consecutively or its going to get worse. Concern will follow.

I hate questions like this. Any coach, leader, etc knows the last thing you would ever say is "Highly concerned. Very worried. We don't have a shot!"

Waste of time question.
But dumb questions like this will continue to be asked because fans, like the ones on this forum, will get all worked up over the reply as if it really means something.

I was really hopeful (foolishly optimistic) that McCarthy would be the guy to turn this club around and make some noise with this team. He did seem to improve the culture and the past two seasons held some hope for the future. The job was not going to be easy under the circumstances of a delusional GM with no accountability, but the last two losses are not the work of a champion.

Might as well say “we’re on to San Diego” because that’s all that can be said.

CeeDee wasn't concerned either. This team knows what they are, and it's not good enough so why fret?

Play the young guys where you can and develop those guys for the future like: Clark, Thomas, Mukuamu, Fehoko. Offense already plays a lot of youngsters.

That's just coach talk. He is concerned. You can bet your butt he is concerned. So if Quinn. They saw what we saw last night so how could they not be concerned? A growing opportunity to the Arizona game two weeks ago. Last night was a bludgeoning. His team looked like the quit. He quit taking a knee at the end of the game instead of trying to make something positive before the game ended. Surrender never instill much confidence in the troops.

The question is what will he do about it? Personally I think the team is reacting poorly to the way they were manhandled. I have heard CeeDee is unhappy. Micah may have thrown his teammates under the bus a little bit. He needs to get them together for a talk to make sure they stick together even if it mean airing their grievances.

Then he needs to evaluate his own play calling. We are 5 games into the season and the offense is a shell of what it was lasts year, despite adding Cooks as a receiver. The running game is awful too. If McCarthy does not fix this offense The Cowboys could be 3-4 in a hurry.

I think Quinn needs to look in the mirror as well. Two of the last 3 games his defense was abused. They shut down 3 teams with horrible offenses that can't score on anyone. The defense is a mirage. I think much of the problem is Quinn's schemes. This might be heresy, but Quinn's defenses in Atlanta were never really good. He is living off his reputation from Seattle and that might have been his GM more than it was him.

"Not concerned.....opportunity to Grow"??? This is the NFL!! The growing should be done in off season and training camp! That is the most complacent answer I've ever heard coming from a Pro Level "contender" team after a beat down. Lets give them all trophies for at least participating. If he is not "concerned" about the performance and preparation last night, then we are NOT going to beat the Eagles. We are NOT going to beat the 9ers. I don't even think we can beat the Lions, Bucs or Seahawks!

Own up to it, Mike! We got our ***** kick. Make changes and perform next week.
