How much does it change your opinion ab the WR core if Gallup is ready week 1?

I’m starting to warm up to this group of WRs.. Lamb & Gallup as the top two guys, we know what they can do.

Tolbert has started off slow, but reportedly has played better with Dak during practices. So I’ll temper my expectations for the rookie

Physically, Brown came to camp in the best shape of his career..which is impressive at his size. He’s supposedly playing better & with confidence. If that’s true.. he could have a breakout year. That would be the biggest surprise, yet better late than never

Dennis Houston has been consistent from the start of camp no matter who’s throwing the ball. Runs routes well and has sure hands. Nice, safe, target..he’ll get better with every rep. I like this kid.

Im really hoping they use Turpin in the Slot. Obviously the kid can get separation and once he has the ball, magic happens. He’s a playmaker, but you can’t overuse him due to his size

Fehoko is an enigma. Reports weren’t glowing nor negative.. so who knows what he’ll bring to the table..
Maybe he drops down to the PS when James Washington is ready to return.

It’s really not a terrible group of WRs. Great mix of veterans/rookies, size, & speed.. throw in our TEs and RBs. The offense should be able maintain drives. As long as our OL holds up, but that’s for a different thread.

I don't like any WR that shies away from contact....heard this more than once about Tolbert. Alligator arms get balls tipped and picked off.

I’ve read that once before..didn’t actually see it tho, but I agree. I hope we’re wrong.

Need him.

Tolbert looks like a bust to me. Timid with average tools. They should have kept Smith, but draft position matters to coaches.

Houston looks like a much better prospect.

Daks strength is getting the ball to the wr that's open. As long as all of Wrs don't get mugged at line of scrimmage we'll be fine until Gallup returns.

He’s not even practiced in pads and is still working with rehab guys. You think he’s going to play a week from now?

I just really hope this FO isn’t pushing Gallup back sooner bc of their failures to address the position well enough

The FO is not going to make the decision. The medical staff will. Jerry and Stephen are not stupid, at least from that standpoint on injuries no matter how much some say.

Correct.
He passed his physical, but has not been cleared medically to play.
As of 3 or 4 days ago he was not even running routes. Well, maybe a few simple ones, more straight line type routes.

And now everything behind closed prices. So no one can say for sure. I think he still misses at least 2 games.

I agree....my gut tells me he'll be back for week 3 or week 4.
