Put up or shut up time for MM. 12-5 with a playoff win isn’t good enough anymore. If they are serious about extending Dak, MM can’t afford to fail. His head is next in line.
As it should be. I think MM is a great coach and glad that he is our coach. However, the next season has to be NFCCG or bust. No excuses. He gets to build his own staff, and I'm sure will have a say in the personnel on offense, since he should know the pieces that he needs to run his scheme. He has to get it done next season.

This is great news. Jerry said, 'in principle, [the offense] will be the same way he operated in GB'.

Offense is why we brought him here. Very excited for this

Get ready for a TON of quick WR screens, short four-curls etc type plays on first down. Much less running the football. Much more west coast and less play action, less Air Coryell type intermediate and deep stuff. If his playcalling years in GB are any indication.

Oh and also get ready for a bunch of kicking field goals on 4th and goal from the 1 yard line.

One benefit is that McCarthy got Aaron Rodgers on the run laterally quite a bit (to throw, not so much to run) which is Prescott's greatest strength and not navigating and throwing from the pocket.

Do you think the Bills should fire their HC?
Right. Mike is finally getting to do what he’s really good at and people think he’s on the hot seat.

To McDermott…..he needs to step it up. The D is suspect and Allen and company looked awful against Cincy.

This is what should’ve always been. I’m not saying he’ll be successful, but coaches need this power.

We have been using this current dual te scheme since around 2011 and it's garbage if ya use the exact same strategy every week.

Ya can't allocate that many snaps and targets to a bunch of Jag checkdown tes like we do and win at the divisional playoff level.

Wake up MM!!!!!

CHANGE THE SCHEME TO FEATURE WRS AND RBS UNTIL YA AQUIRE AN ELITE TE!!!

We're out there running passing plays w 3 jag tes

BARF ME W A STICK!!!

Everytime I see our tes lined up in a spread formation like WR'S I just want to PULL MY HAIR OUT!!

It makes no statistical or logical sense to overtarget a bunch of non differencemakers

Maybe…but he can‘t be successful running a team that is built on defense and expect Josh Allen to run around and make plays as your offense. Remember the Buddy Ryan Eagles? The parallels are striking. Get into the playoffs and fail. Or maybe Josh Allen is a bit overrated, or needs an offensive minded coach to unlock his full potential. This discussion is already on a slow burn in Buffalo.

As for us? If Dak is going to drive the bus, MM needs a healthy #2 WR, a healthy dual purpose back, a TE that is better than average, and needs to finish building that O-line. The real MVP of the Eagles-49ers was the o-line. Johnson and Mailata took turns pancaking Bosa into oblivion. When they had to, they opened holes and just wore down the 49er defense. We couldn’t do that. I think MM knows he must see if Steele can play. He needs to decide once and for all where Tyler will play. I fear we are wasting the HoF career of Zach Martin, one of the best guards to ever put on a helmet in the NFL.

We have talent. And if are deficient in a area of importance, upgrade what you have.

If I'm Mike I'm not going down with someone else's offense and not calling the plays. I'm glad they made this change, for us and for him.

He can't totally change the offense. Not gonna happen.

MM calling plays smells of desperation . Firing Philbin & Rob Davis all points to granpa having a SF meltdown and dictating these moves . I think anything short of NFC title game in 23 and Mac & Chesse is gone .
